If you have applied for AB and has got the same, it does not matter if the LOC is present or not. You are free to come in and go out of the cournty, provided the conditions on the bail are not adverse to put your passport in the court.

LOC is valid for 3-6 months from the FIR and it also depends on how much the opposite party has given bribe to the police. It does not happen in normal case. I would suggest you to take the AB, with the condition that your passport will not be impounded and there will be free movement of travel between India and abroad. The lower court may not give that conditions, but the higher court will definately give such conditions. This can be applied for regular bail also.
