if your fil had willed it to your mil or any other family member other than your husband then they have rights to refuse to allow you into their house and also you cant claim any share otherwise if he had died intestate then you have rights to claim share in the property

My father-in-law never had a will for the house. He died in 2006. Property is in his name so i think the legal heir are my mother in law, my sister in law and my husband.  So can he just give a simple report in police station and go back to Home ?

just file a partition suit to get your husbands share in the property.also obtain a stay order against selling or mortaging the property by your husbands relatives

if you just want to gain entry into the house then make a complaint that your husband has a share in the property and his relatives are preventing him from gaining entry into the house.if you think the woman in police might file false case then give a complaint to the dcp or acp directly and also make an entry in the nc kept at the police station that your husband relatives are threatening with false cases on you
