Hi
Depending on the age and health condition of elderly person and the nature of the case  the courts may permit the following
a) enable the person to submit a written affidavit or
b) depute an Judge to the aged person at his residence only.
it all depends on the nature of case as well as the age and health condition of the elderly person.
Courts are favourably inclined to support the needs of elderly people and may go to any extent to hear the elderly person.
