Title: copy right issue

I R.K.Tiwari, Librarian by profession, want to know that will there be any copy right issue in case we download books from Internet available through open resources for academic purpose?
Is it a violation copy copyright act? Kindly let us know.

You can copy those eBooks which is freely available on authentic websites or which are not under copyright protection act. It is violation of copyright law if the downloaded books are used for taking print and sold for revenue generation.

You can download any book from open source and use it only for your academic purpose under section-52 fair use of copyright.

Dear Sir,

Just as a typical printed work, E-book copyrights provide the sole rights of it to only the author or the creator of the E-book.
