Title: Is the sale deed valid
Post by: ajitdas4 on January 23, 2016, 06:14:59 PM
I made a Deed of agreement with a builder for purchase of a building on a vacant plot of land. Later I moved out of India but my wife remained in India. When the property was ready the sale deed was executed in my wife's name. There was no Power of attorney from me. I have no objection of having the sale deed in my wife's name. Now a person claimed that the house has been allocated by the builder (deed of agreement) and filed a case on my wife to vacate the house. Is the sale deed valid which stands in my wife's name while her name was not in the Deed of agreement?
