Courts monitor these closely to prevent &#8220;misclassification,&#8221; ensuring workers receive statutory benefits if the employer exerts substantial control.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Remote\/Teleworking:<\/strong> A formalized framework for digital work. UAE courts maintain jurisdiction over these contracts provided they are registered with MOHRE, even if the work is performed abroad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Casual\/Occasional:<\/strong> For short-term engagements (e.g., event staffing). Crucially, a written internal investigation is now a mandatory prerequisite for dismissal. To be covenants for a maximum of 2 enforceable, these must be specific in geographic scope and nature of work.
