This is particularly true in rural and remote areas. People often hesitate to approach legal institutions because they believe that court proceedings are too complicated, too expensive, or only meant for influential people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-kishtwar-a-real-life-example\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Kishtwar_A_Real-Life_Example\"><\/span>Kishtwar: A Real-Life Example<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kishtwar is one such example. Many people in the district avoid approaching the courts even when they have genuine legal grievances. Instead, they choose to remain silent or settle disputes informally because they fear the legal process. Some believe they will have to spend years in litigation, while others think they cannot afford legal representation. Imagine a woman who is denied her legal rights in a property dispute but never approaches the court because she believes the process is beyond her understanding. Or consider a laborer who is not paid his wages yet remains silent because he does not know that the law provides remedies. These situations are not uncommon. When people understand these rights, they are more likely to stand against injustice, discrimination, and exploitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, awareness reminds us that rights come with responsibilities. Many people forward messages without checking whether they are true.
