Repeated travel, legal expenses, absence from work, and the emotional burden of defending multiple cases simultaneously often exceed the actual merits of the dispute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An important question therefore arises:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-can-all-matrimonial-cases-be-transferred-to-one-city-or-clubbed-together\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Can_All_Matrimonial_Cases_Be_Transferred_to_One_City_or_Clubbed_Together\"><\/span>Can All Matrimonial Cases Be Transferred to One City or Clubbed Together?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Can all these matrimonial cases be transferred to one city? Can they be clubbed together and decided by one court?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The answer under Indian law is nuanced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the law permits transfer of proceedings in appropriate cases and allows coordination between connected matters, there is no automatic legal principle that all matrimonial disputes must be heard by one court.
