One of the main modes of alienation is by agreement.

What Are Title and Vestitive Facts?

Title means the legal source of a person’s right to property. It answers the question: “How did this person become the owner?”

Vestitive facts are the facts that create or change a title. They may be:

Acts of parties (like a sale or gift), or

Events that happen by law (like inheritance or adverse possession).

Without a proper vestitive fact, a person cannot claim a valid title.

Modes of Alienation of Titles

Titles can be transferred (alienated) in different ways. The main modes are:

By agreement (contract or conveyance)

By operation of law (inheritance, insolvency, etc.)

By prescription or adverse possession

By judgment of a court

3.1. Among the various modes of alienation, agreement is the most important because it is based on free will and mutual consent. Whether through sale, gift, exchange, lease, or mortgage, a properly made agreement transfers title in a clear and lawful manner. Understanding these principles helps protect property rights and ensures smooth and fair transfers in society.

Prevent Employee Alienation For Exhilarating Performance

How to Win Over Local People in Left-Wing Extremism (LWE) Districts

What Causes Left-Wing Extremism (LWE) to Thrive in India

How to Terminate a Property Contract in Dubai: Your Rights, Your Options, and the Role of Form F

Extinguishment Of A Minor’s Rights In Voidable Alienations

Introduction In jurisprudence, a title is the legal right that shows ownership or control over property.
