Illustrating the scale and the struggle of enforcement, data from the Uttar Pradesh Police for the period between January 2024 and August 2025 documented 699 bovine slaughter cases and 1,200 instances of cattle trafficking.<\/p>\n<p>Enforcement actions during this time led to 4,988 arrests and the seizure of assets valued at \u20b919.17 crore under the stringent Gangster Act.
