Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in India The Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is one of the most talked about issues in India’s socio-political and socio-legal scene, and it balances itself on the thin line between religious freedom, the importance of personal laws, and traditional customs, and a long-standing vision to unify laws and eliminate custom-made inequality and prejudice.
