Abstract Delimitation in India is the process of redrawing parliamentary and assembly constituency boundaries to ensure equal representation, based on population data from the census. Governed by constitutional provisions and the Delimitation Act, it also adjusts reserved seats for Scheduled Castes and Tribes.
