Dear sir,
I joined a private primary school a year back. at the time of Joining no appointment letter was issued. I was required to sign an attendance register. The monthly salary was paid in cash (in envelopes with the school’s name, my name and the amount on it) after signing payment vouchers. Before the school closed for Christmas, the headmistress told me that my services were no longer required. She did not give any reason for this. I was refused a written termination letter. I sent a leave application by registered post but it came back with the postal note Refused on the envelope. How can I resume work?

from what i Gather you have no paper to suggest you where a teacher of that Primary school.
ascertain the employer- employee relationship an appointment letter is necessary as it is a binding contract.

In the absence of an appointment letter or copies of the vouchers signed by you, it would be difficult to file any case against the school. However, you can send them a legal notice against the illegal termination of service. Not much will come of it.

this should serve as a lesson for all who read this posting that one should not join any kind of service without an appointment letter.

regarding this matter Nothing can be done as there was no written contract between the school and the teacher.

if u pursue a case you will have to provide the students and associated teachers to sumit as evidence that u were a teacher, I doubt they will speak against the school.

even if they do still u don't have a case.

so colse the chapter find another job.
