 Hello me and my cousin have a property , for which I am paying 50% EMI, but my name is not in the registry. How I can claim the 50% share in property ??.
 
or In future if he
In case if he sells the property without informing me???.

get your name in the register, no matter how much you pay for it is irrelevant as long as your name does not appear as property owner there is no share for u from legal point of view.

you are totally at the mercy of your cousin if he shares with u only than will u get anything

Can I get an affidavit signed by him which shows the ownership in the property??
Is there any other legal way???

No why do u want to complicate matters to the point where you lose both the property and a fine cousin?

get your name included in the property register as co-owner OR

tell him to make a Gift deed in which he gifts you 50% ownership of the property.

affidavit is idiotic
