What is law of Torts
« on: October 13, 2013, 08:51:34 PM »
Conduct that harms others or their property is mostly known as a civil wrong. it is a personal wrong against an individual that the person could recover damages. The casualty could sue the bad person to recover damages to compensate him for the hurt or loss caused. The conduct that is a civil wrong might also be a criminal offense.

Some torts need intent before there will be liability and a few torts need no intent. In alternative words, in some cases there is liability for a civil wrong despite the fact that the person committing the civil wrong did not have any intent to try to to wrong. as an example, an individual occurring material possession while not the consent of the property owner is responsible for the civil wrong of trespass despite the fact that the person could have not noted he was on somebody else’s property (e.g., he created an honest mistake on the situation of the boundary line).

In alternative torts, there should be intent. as an example, within the case of slander, it\'s necessary to point out that the litigator supposed to cause hurt, or, a minimum of had the intent an act that an affordable person would grasp would possible cause hurt. As a general rule, motive is impertinent except as proof to point out the existence of intent.

Dear friend

A body of rights, obligations, and remedies that is applied by courts in civil proceedings to provide relief for persons who have suffered harm from the wrongful acts of others.
A tort, in common law jurisdictions, is a civil wrong which unfairly causes someone else to suffer loss or harm resulting in legal liability for the person who commits the tortuous act, called a tortfeasor.
