Help - multiple issues - marriage, prenup
« on: May 07, 2014, 11:51:31 AM »
I need help understanding if there is anything from the legal standpoint that i need to be worried about -
A man who was proposed as an alliance has the following history  and I think I have reason to worry -
-he claims to have recieved multiple degrees but refuses to give information about the same and is very elusive about it. The same details were mentioned on a matrimony site at a prior date, is such information valid as proof in the court of law? What if the profile is deleted?
- claims that he cant disclose educational details due to an agreement with employers - what kind of employers ask for such agreements?
- claims was given a degree by an institution but the degree isn't in writing. Is it possible?
- in the case that i trust him and marry him, and find out he was lying later, what does the law say about it?
- where can i get details of the indian marriage rules?
Thanks in advance

from the fact that he is hiding facts about himself, clearly is a non starter.

there is no such rules as to what would be required for a valid marriage except that both should be India citizen, major as par age thats it.

Now if the one you intend to marry is not coming clean you look else where.

regarding matrimonial websites well there have been very serious matrimonial disputes arising out of these web marriages.

know the person well enough before committing.

know this falling in a well is easy getting out is very tough
