Father's land
« on: July 03, 2014, 09:27:17 AM »
Hello Sir/Madam. I'm very thank full to all the respected lawyers who contribute their knowledge through this website.

In my earlier posts I've mentioned many details about my father's land. Im a second wife son of my father who died this year 2014. Now my mother and my step mother's family have decided to build a house ( ground floor, not molding roof but just sheet roof house) in my father's land.my father passed away this year 2014. so all the land documents is registered in his name alone. my mother and my step mother have agreed mutually to share the land equally and build house on their respective share. but we're little worried whether will their arise any legal problems. still now the land is in my father's name who is already dead. so is it right and ok to build house in the land. or should we transfer the land in my mothers name and step mothers name and then build the house. to be honest we started the construction work already but suddenly we felt this doubt. so please respected sir/madam help me.

Sincerely
Stanley

Where there is mutual understanding there is no problem.

but who knows about tomorrow, it is wiser to transfer it amicably to the two mothers name now as there is peace between them both.

secure the future that's what I suggest

Sure Sir we'll do it. We're facing a problem from a neighbour where we're building house sir. Our neighbour and we have a compound wall in common built by my father in between our both site. Ours is 30/40 site. While we were building pillars as per rule we left space in all the corners and building. but our neighbour says he will attach his wall to our compound. We agreed but demanded him to sign in MOU not to keep ventilation or windows in the wall which he attaches to our compound. but he refuses to sign the agreement and also stubborn that he will attach his wall to our compound. Please help sir.
