Health Insurance reimbursement

My son was working for an MNC. He claimed insrance to reimburse and insurance company paid to the employer. Before he received the amount he was terminated.
Can the employer hold  the insurance claim amount for any reason?

Such cases would happen normally in case of corporate health insurance. If your son would be on notice period at that point of time, then the ball is at your court. But, after termination, the things are little different. You need to check out the terms and conditions of the company that had been provided to your son at the time of joining. After that you can choose to go legally.

When you are having a corporate health insurance, it is always preferred that you should have a separate health policy for you and your family, as if sometime such thing that have happened to you or some other instances happens to any of you, then you should have a back that would support you financially at the time of need and crisis.

You can have your health insurance policy from after doing the needful like comparing the features, calculating your premium amount, checking up the success rate and many more. As it is said prevention is better than cure, just have a separate health insurance as a back.
