Marriage Trouble
« on: October 27, 2014, 07:19:57 PM »
Hi,
Got married last year in December. Immediately after marriage wife started having problems. From calling me financially unstable to being a characterless man she accussed me of multiple things without putting forward any proofs against the same. She has been at her parents home since April. We discussed her concerns but since may there has been no communication between two families. Last week they contacted again asking to forgive and forget. We know that this girl is not interested in coming back.
Want to know what legal options i have to put this relationship to a closure amicably. What if the girl puts a false case of harassment or abetting suicide. We have already filed a ncr at nearest police station. They have taken all her belongings including jewellery from our house in April itself. Now they are doing a u-turn and asking for accepting the girl back.

But after staying separately for 6 months, she is now saying that she doesn't want divorce. Is there any way i can protect myself if they try to file a false case against me.

You can file a contested divorce on grounds of cruelty and desertion than whatever they file would appear as backlash.

tell all family members to stay out if it especially your mum and dad

I have submitted a Non Cognizable report at a local police station. Will that be of any help in such cases.
