Your husband's mere wish to divorce you, is not sufficient, you also have to agree to the divorce.

court wont grant divorce to him, just because your husband want divorce

Madam,
unemployed wife has right to residence and maintenance, so you have a host of legal rights.

if your husband pressurise you for divorce, that amounts to cruelty, file a complaint in CAW cell

Don't you worry! Legally a wife has also rights over her husband's property. After getting divorce you can claim for property share.

My husband and I had some fights and left me at my parents house and is living with his parents. Since 5 months I am trying to reconcile with me but he seems very angry. Ours is a love marriage he is Christian and I am Hindu and we registered our marriage in 2011 after knowing each other for more than 13 years. In between this 4 months whenever we met out he used to say that we make things work but he needs time. But the moment he reaches home he sends negative message that he needs divorce. I waited patiently but things are not in my support as his parents and never favoured me due to religion and are helped to reinforce my husbands negative thinking for me. I want to make my marriage work but don't know how with my totally under the negative influence of his family. What should I do? How to save my marriage? Recently I shifted into my in-laws house but they sent son away in pretext of work. I do not even know where he is. He does not reply to my calls or messages also. They have even told my parents that your daughter is forcefully staying in our house and that their son will be with her no matter what she does. Please guide
