Cheque Returned 'Funds Insufficient' - Do I have a strong case
« on: February 13, 2015, 03:18:36 AM »
Requesting for understanding if following situations are going to make the case (Cheque returned Funds Insufficient) difficult

Total amount divided by issuing two cheques with short interval of dates say 3-Jan and 6th Jan. Can a single case be filed

Cheques signed by payer however using his company account  cheque book. legal liability is from that individual (Payer) not the company from which he signed the cheque

Cheques for rental payment. He issued the cheques as some lumpsum pending amount. This does not match (any of months x monthly rent)Say there were overdues of say Rs 30000 and he signed cheque for say Rs 22000

Thx.

You can file single case by clubbing two cheque amount. The drawer is responsible as personal category and also organization category. The case should file as per cheque amount.
