Generosity does not help
« on: April 02, 2015, 03:20:51 AM »
Dear Folks,

Few months back, I helped one my friends with getting a bike. Due to lack of documents, it was not possible to get the bike under his ownership. So I gave my proofs to buy the bike.

I am planning to move to a different location now which is why I think that this is the right time my friend gets the bike on his name. He is not giving me an exact date by which he can complete the transfer process.

I have been so generous to him but his seems to be taking the advantage of it. I can get the bike back myself but I do want to do that.

Can I send me a legal notice asking to transfer the bike within a month's time or so?

Please advise.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Frustrated Freak :)

On paper; you are the owner of the bike; since its registered in your name and you have provided the documentation. Mention this to him & threaten to take the possession of the bike.

On the other hand; initiate the transfer process yourself. May be your friend is not doing so coz of sheer laziness!! Did you ever try speaking to him about his reluctance in getting the transfer done?
