Hello Sir/Madam,

My mother is a widow and me and my elder sister only. My mother has never taken care me since my childhood and brought up by grand father.
after my marriage, she was forcing my wife to apply divorce and she was forcing for my first daughter's abortion. but God's grace we escaped.

i gave 5 years of my salary and one land sale of 4 lacks as well. currently she is having two property and earing rent 3000 out of it.

now she need more money from me as 10000 per month for her maintenance. she is a senior citizen.

She went under welfare senior citizen act 2007 to get money from me. whatever money if i give all will go to my sister.

My sister is strongly supporting my mother. Mother living in a village. she always

what are my options now not to give money.

1) If she asks money then can i send her to care homes/old age homes instead of providing money to her
2) can she force to stay with me?

Please help me

Thanks
Sara

Thank you so much for your reply. but currently, She filed a petition with R.D.O under Senior welfare and Maintenance act. She will not move to court as she is having enough money and 2 properties and she can't get what she wanted. that is the reason she went to R.D.O. So, my question is, under the current situation, if R.D.O force me to provide money without considering her income and the immovable properties, what are my options.

1) If she asks money then can i tell R.D.O that I can take care in care homes/old age homes instead of providing money to her
2) Can R.D.O order that, I need to keep my mother with me ( I mean staying with me)? . if she stays with me then my life will be gone.

what is R.D.O  power and limit to order me . Please help me.

Thank you so much for your advice

Thanks
Sara
