Limitation period for memorandum of understanding
« on: June 03, 2015, 04:22:45 AM »
memorandum of understanding:  in 2009 we have made a MOU saying that no one should file any case against each other - and we should apply for mutual divorce - since then  my wife and her parents didn't respond - later in 2011  I took a step and filled divorce case. case is still running now - last year in 2013 my wife has filled maintenance case on me - i tried for mutual divorce but she and her parents are not agree.

Now what steps i need to take- what will be the limitation period for MOU

Please advice.

that mou is for mutual divorce only.now its not of any use as you both are not going for mcd.so you cant prevent her from filing false cases and ask her to adhere to mou

HI saravanan ,

Thanks for your reply, Actually the "MOU" clearly says - she can't file for any case in future - nor she can ask for  maintenance or alimony.
