Partition of inherited property
« on: September 02, 2015, 07:36:18 PM »
My fathers owns a farm at our village. He has two brothers. But the land is not transferred to the individuals, its still in the name of my grand father(he is no more)and just names of the heirs is written. Now this land was divided by mutual understanding and my father being youngest brother he got the land which is less fertile and my other two uncles enjoying the farming over rest of fertile land over years as my father is teacher and does not do farming. But now if is there any law which can settle this issue in the court to equally divide the land into three parts which has equal ratio of fertile land. What should we do?

Please ask your father to file a partition suit against all his brother. The partition will be made by the court as per the valuation of the land not by fertilizer.
