Want to sell my grandfather's property
« on: September 13, 2015, 11:22:24 AM »
I want to sell my grandfather's property which is 13.610 sq.ft. The property is acquired by 8 brothers jointly including me and no partition is done. Now

1) I want to first partition the property equally in 8 holders

2) Want to sell my property

3) What is partition suit ?? Can I use this in this scenario ?? If yes then what is the legal procedure required in doing so ??

Would be grateful if you give your precious advice and guide me through.

Simply file a partition suit with a help of an experience lawyer. Without any fees and/ or stamp duty you cannot get your property demarcated in your name.

Regarding Time consumption it will depend on court's case diary and pending of cases.
Regarding money it will depend on the lawyer which you will hire but I can help you for drafting of Plaint for initiate your partition suit and the tactics to get early remedy for which I need the details of property and your other's co-sharer.
