Vendor refusing to rectify the mistakes in the sale deed
« on: November 23, 2015, 02:14:54 AM »
I bought a portion of the subdivided (within my cousins) plot from one my cousin brother who himself a lawyer in the year 2000 . Due to some tussle i got the sledded and all documents copies in the year 2016. When i applied for patta i was told that some mistakes in the mother document ( the partion deed between my cousins) which is all typing error . Even in my saledeed there is some mistakes. When i pointed out to my cousin he blindly refused to accept the mistake and says you have your sale deed and proceed with it. When i have the problems in both my sale deed and mother document how can proceed further? what are the options left with me..

It is not an issue or big deal. If the erstwhile owner is refusing to rectify the mother deed, then you can file a simple suit for declaration against the govt bodies as well as against your cousin brother. Getting order will be the ultimate relief you are seeking.

For further clarification and consultation in details you can contact me.
