Need help Re Property - Original Flat demolished by builder
« on: January 09, 2016, 08:26:22 AM »
Dear Sir,
We were owners of housing board flats.Builder promised to get us a new flat with all facilities and asked 66 flat owners jointly
to give POA for constructing a mega structure and hand over within 2 yrs.Now it is almost 4 yrs.He demolished all 66 flats long back. Now not responding..We are helpless. Some of the owners even died. Now we don't our flat and the vacant land is owned
by all 66.Any New builder also is not coming forward but wanted to cancel POA of old builder.POA cancellation is becoming a
problem because some people have ,some are very old and some are route less.Since POA had been signed jointly, lawyer say it
has to be cancelled jointly. As a single owner of old flat which is also demolished now not sure what is my future? My hard earned money which was invested hoping this will fetch some amount, just keeping my fingers crossed. Please help and let me know what
solution is there for me and my family?
Thanks

This much can say that the POA is no more valid as you said that one of the owner has died. Without knowing facts it is not possible for me to give advice. But I can say that you all have remedy.
