We own a commercial building, and some space has been rented out to a parlour.
Now we suspect that the parlour is letting out rooms to couples for some..privacy..

Dont have any proof, just the neighbours are suspicious..

Is it legal for them to do that?
Do i have any legal grounds to stop such activities?

the other tenants naturally find it objectionable..but is it illegal?

Advice is really appreciated!

Yes it is illegal. If such a thing is happening

Let those neighbours who are objecting give a written police complaint.

But approach police with some concrete evidence.

Collect some proof by engaging Pvt Detective Agency then lodge a complaint to the police. You can file a case in Executive Magistrate Court u/sec.107 Cr.P.C. and you can also file a suit for Eviction of Tenant in Civil Court against the tenant.

It is better to file a police complaint for suspicion of illegal activities along with neighbour's written compliant. once it is proved then file eviction case against them
