Hi
We recently won a case for claiming the ownership on a plot which was grabbed by some one. At the beginning of the trail we submitted original land registration (original sale deed documents) to district court. As now we won the case we want the documents back into our possession to make further developments. Please let us know
(a) the normal time it takes to get back these original documents
(b) process for getting these documents
(c) would the documents be in the same form as we submitted to court or would court put any stamps or marks identifying that these documents were submitted to court.
Please clarify.
Thanks

File a petition under order 13 rule 9 of Civil Procedure Code read with sec.151 in the Court where you have file the original documents.

a) After expiry of appeal period, then you can get back all original documents after filing a report supported by an affidavit that no appeal is pending.

b) You have make an application supported with affidavit as said above.

c) Definitely there will be a seal of court on all original documents
