Non registration of property

I have purchased the flat in Mumbai at Mira road in the year 1998 & have paid stamp duty but did not registered the sale agreement. I recently approach the Promoter for registration of confirmation deed attached with the sale deed as after lapse of more than 8 months , the sale deed is to be attached-along with the confirmation deed for Registration but the promoters demanded 2.5 lakhs bribe, which I refused . After some days he dispatch ed a letter stating that he is ready to register the Sale deed executed earlier  &  is not ready to register the supplementary deed i.e. confirmation deed attached along with the sale deed, which is not possible as per rule of  registration. The secretary of the society is also hands in gloves with the Promoter and have not issued me a share certificate although I have never defaulted in payment of maintenance , property tax etc since 1998 & when I am asking for share certificate he is directing me to the promoter and in this I am subjected to harassment by both of them? What is a legal remedies?

This flat does not belong to you as yet whether. You pay maintenance or not is of no consequence.

Get a lawyer and get your property registered immediately.

There is no need to argue with anyone now till you have your property registered
