Rights on my Alive Father's property
« on: February 28, 2016, 12:01:18 AM »
Hello Sir,

My Grandfather had purchased a property in 1960 and died without any will. His wife is left with his three other sons and my father being the eldest. My father, being a First level Legal Heir, got his share of property, through partition. I have an elder sister and we both born to his first wife (deceased). My father got married again and the second wife has one son. Now, myself and my sister, would like to claim our share of the property from our father. My father is still ALIVE. My father says he has absolute right on the property and he can lend, sell, or give the property to anyone he likes. I would like to know the rights we got on this property and please tell me whether we could file a suite to claim this property.
