University Scholarship Policy
« on: April 27, 2016, 07:49:48 AM »
I am currently studying in a University and recently got involved in a Disciplinary Action,
and according to the "Scholarship Policy"

-   "If there is confirmed disciplinary violation, the scholarship will be discontinued immediately for the remaining part of that semester and it will also be revoked for the subsequent semesters and there will be no reinstatement and student will be liable to pay the fee on the prorata basis for the current semester and full fee in the remaining semesters."

Therefore I have two options either to Keep on studying in this university by paying the full Tuition Fee(As my scholarship is cancelled)
or to Leave the University

The "Scholarship Policy" also states
-  "In case a student withdraws at any point from their degree program, whichever semester that may be in and for whatever reason, the student will be liable to return to XYZ University the entire scholarship/stipend awarded to him/her from the time they joined XYZ University till the date of withdrawal."

So I think if my Scholarship is already cancelled, Therefore "Scholarship Policy" doesn't apply on me anymore.
Therefore, the above statement doesn't apply on me, and I could leave the University without paying any Previous Fees.

Am I right?
Please give your views on the above case, and any suggestion to get out of this without paying the previous Fees awarded to me as a Scholarship.

Did charges have been proved against you in the disciplinary proceedings?
Did you get a fair chance to defend yourself in the said proceedings?

Without seeing the entire scholarship policy, it is not possible to advice.
