Delay in written exam result
« on: May 19, 2016, 05:35:41 AM »
I appeared for an exam whose advertisement was under dispute by some existing working staff. Existing working staff is on contract base for short period. Exam body has decided to end contract and chose to recruit employee by Govt Standards with competitive exam. But existing staff on contract mod is opposing this.
Exam body has taken exam and interview as well but not disclosing result and saying that the posts are under dispute.

In high Court judgement they lost the case. They moved to Honorable SC.

1. Is there any provision to get result out?
2. What compensation can we claim for this all delay if they lose case.
3. We are self struggling for case info and all matters. Neither petitioner nor respondent (Exam body) have informed us. So we are indirect victim. What compensation is there for an indirect victim.

Thanks in advance for reply.

Dear Sir,

As I understand from your posting that the dispute is subjudice (pending) before Hon'ble Supreme Court. I think you have to wait for the out come of the supreme court for the results.

Thanks advjaibansal for your kind advice. Actually exam taking body itself is Himachal High Court and matter is between Contractual Staff over IT projects vs Himachal High Court. Hon'ble SC disposed off the case with an order to let HC judgment be reviewed once more. It's for last one year case is running and all candidates who cleared written + Technical exam and appeared for interview are sitting back, but under the cover of running case contractual employees are getting salaries. How justified is it? What can we do in this matter? Should we wait? Case is under review by Hon'ble HC of Himachal.

Is there any procedure to get relief for third party(neither petitioner nor respondent) due to legal proceedings as in our case.

Dear Sir,

If you are batch of people who are affected by delay in review pending before the High Court. In such case, you all can file a joint application for early disposal of the review petition before the Himachal high Court.

Dear Adv Jai Bansal ,

Thanks a lot for your kind advice. Should we collectively submit a request application to HP HC for early disposal of case?. Should we hire a lawyer or we ourself can write application directly to HC. Thanks a lot for your time.
