Court Room Recording of Proceedings
« on: December 25, 2016, 07:32:28 AM »
Why is there no Courtroom recording of proceedings in India, this is available in almost all countries around the world, this is 21st century, why are judges against it.

I can understand if the court is against broadcasting of courtroom proceedings, that fine.

But courtroom recording of proceedings available to the court and the affected parties only can definitely, be made possible and why not.

this will also help both the lawyers and judges in performing their duties.

I hope someone shares his views on this, thanks

What you are asking is a genuine thing I also feel it should be recorded but than I doubt Judges will agree, if they do than what will happen to the term "FACE VALUE"

Recording of proceedings are available in USA, the affected parties can get a copy of the court room recordings via counter on payment of a prescribed fee.

This is a healthy practice it should also be done in India.

Someone should file a PIL on this regards in Supreme court
