Legal Notice

Hi All,

I already paid my all due billsto telecom company but still they have sent me legal notice, I am having all proofs to prove them wrong, I want to take legal action against them, can I sue them for the it. Any advice would be great help.

You should counter their legal notice with your legal notice before proceeding further.

Dear Ajas,

You can surely take a legal recourse but you will have to show that you have suffered some kind of injury (as in terms of legal rights). It may be possible that the legal notice sent contains some phrase like "please ignore if already paid" (please check). If it does not, the next step would be filing a reply to the legal notice. This reply needs to be drafted in a manner whereby you request you to withdraw the legal notice within a specified time frame, and a few other things. I have drafted such replies in a few cases and most of the times matters end there only. This saves time and cost. If the company still does not withdraw the notice, you should move to avail legal remedies in a court of appropriate jurisdiction, which is a matter of consultation and deliberation.
