I'm an unmarried MTF transgender person who is attracted towards women. I'm Hindu by birth, an Indian citizen residing in India and at the moment legally a male. I just wanted to know if I marry a ciswoman in India as per indian law and legally transition to Female/Transgender after marriage would the marriage be still legally valid? Also, what happens to the 'father's name' section of my children(in case any) after my legal transition?

Whatever your status is at the time of solemnisation of marriage will prevail.

Since there is no law what you are asking for.

So if u are husband in the marriage certificate you will be daddy.

From your query one its so clear that how humans make their already simple so complicated.

Advarjun, How can I be 'husband' if I legally transition to Female/Transgender after marriage to a woman(i.e. Female)?
What is the procedure of divorce in case of marital conflict in such a situation?
Also, if I had legally transitioned to F instead of T( irrespective of whatever stage I might be at in regards to my social and medical transition) and my in-laws or any of the relatives start harassing me then would the Indian laws meant for women's protection be applicable in my case if I decide to file complaint against them?

I'm sorry advarjun if you thought humans make their already simple life complicated. No humans don't. Laws do.
I'm asking these questions specifically on this forum since i don't know who to approach in terms of legal matters involving gender, sexuality and marriage. I'm a translesbian and under family pressure to get married.
Even I prefer to marry someday but only to a woman who would be okay with my transition and sexuality.
I've put my transition on hold for health related and financial reasons and also because I'm still closeted. And even if I come out to my family at this moment I'm going to face lots of opposition from my parents and relatives which would make the situation much worse for me.
