Ancestral property distribution
« on: July 03, 2017, 04:49:59 AM »
hello sir,

This query is regarding distribution of ancestral property and I would like to know. If the first wife has one son(age-55) and two daughters(age-58). And they got married without taking a divorce. if the second wife has two sons(age-35). How will its ancestral property be divided? He and both of these spouses are present in this property. Thanks in advance for advice.

All sons and daughters will get each undivided share and both spouse will get 1 undivided share. like below:

Each sons and daughters will get 1/6th undivided share of property
Each spouse will get 1/12th undivided share of property

As per Hindu Suucession Act
