Taking Sanyaas - Need Some Clarifications :)
« on: August 06, 2017, 08:19:33 PM »
Hello Upholders of Justice!

I am a 32 year old male. I have decided to dedicate my life in search of truth and to serve society in large (taking Sanyaas after a while). Since I will be leaving my family very soon (I won't be able to bid them a proper goodbye), I want to know:
1. If I have a property in my name - can someone (my parents or brother) get it transferred in their name after a few years of my absence?
2. Is there a way I can transfer everything in my name to my parents or brother without their knowledge? (a WILL or GPA?)

I don't want them to suffer, running from pillar to post, w.r.t any property in my name.

Looking forward to your enlightened replies! :)

God bless,
Peace!

Yes. By executing WILL

It is better to give a written notes to your family and as per Hindu Succession Act, if any person renounce from his society/ world to become Sanyaas , then automatically you share will be devolve upon those person as per Section 8
