Pertaining to a will
« on: September 29, 2017, 09:04:32 AM »
Hi,

I own properties and a few investments with my partner. We don't live together anymore. However, we have not filed for divorce.

Can my partner attempt selling any of the properties without my permission? Also, what would be the course of action if she writes off her share in a will?

Please let me know.

Regards

She can do whatever she wishes in respect of her share. You hardly restrain her from making a WILL. You can file a partition of those properties with her amicable otherwise seeking legal help in the court is always open

Dear Sir,

Joint properties cannot be sole without your consent in writing not he transfer documents. The properties only in the name of your partner can be sole by her.
