I am a second-year law student, pursuing B A LLB (Hons.) at the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi. I am a Keralite hailing from the renowned city of Calicut on the Malabar Coast. My father is a businessman, and my mother, a homemaker. I have a younger brother who is currently pursuing Computer Science Engineering. I completed my school studies from my hometown at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans, Perumthiruthi. From my school days itself, I had a deep interest in literature and had nourished the dream of becoming a dignified professional, working towards social welfare. As a schoolgirl, I made accomplishments in several extempores and essay writing competitions, which had boosted my confidence to overcome stage fear as well as to enhance my public speaking skills. Besides everything, the exposure I got from my school played an important role in shaping myself as an individual with strong passion and determination skills. It was only in my 12th grade that I discovered that my true potential was in law. I nurtured my dream of gaining entry to a National Law School. Having been unable to crack the entrance in my first attempt, I decided to take a drop year to achieve my dream. Putting faith in myself, I took a tougher stance that I would crack the exam without the aid of formal coaching. The year was a decisive one in my life, and I had to endure several difficulties while doing the preparations for the coveted exam on my own. My family and friends backed me with their invaluable support and gave me the confidence to face the exam. My determination and hard work bore fruit when I qualified the examination with a decent All India Rank securing admission in my dream law school. About two years at Law School has brought in significant changes in me, both as a person and as a student. I have a keen interest in almost all subjects of law and love doing legal research.
