Angad Singh

born (April�1995) and brought up in Delhi, India. I came to Toronto in January 2019 to take up a 1-year (3 semesters) post-graduate certificate course in Paralegal from the Centennial. I successfully graduated with Honours in December 2019. I have also done a few Online Certificate courses in Project Management, Risk Management, Change Management, Leadership Skills from the International Business Institute, Berlin, Germany (2020), and workplace health and safety training from the Ministry of Labour, Ontario (2020). Before coming to Canada, I studied to double graduate in Arts and Law � B.A. LL. B (Honours), a 5 years integrated degree course, in June 2018 from the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, India. I also completed a certificate course in Privacy and Data Protection Laws from the National Law School, Bangalore (2018). I am an alumnus of St. Columba�s School, New Delhi, India wherefrom I completed my high school in the Science stream (2013). While studying for my Paralegal, I interned with Horlick Levitt Di Lella LLP, Barristers and Solicitors in the North York, Toronto. Before this, immediately upon my law graduation I took up employment with Dhir & Dhir Associates, a top law firm in India, as a Junior Associate in their litigation department. I worked for about 3 months before getting an opportunity to further study at Centennial, Toronto. While studying for my law degree in India, I also had the opportunity of interning with some of the top legal firms and at The Supreme Court of India, J. Sagar Associates, Khaitan and Co., Advaita legal (KPMG), and Dua Associates are amongst the chosen few. As far as my interests and hobbies are concerned, I am a fitness lover and a sports enthusiast. During my early school days, I participated in various skating championships and was awarded the sub-junior Delhi state championship. I also participated in all kinds of sports activities like chess, basketball, cricket, and swimming.
