I'm a second year law student, currently pursuing my undergraduate degree from Bennett University, Times of India Group, Greater Noida. I have inherited law as a legacy from my family, which makes me a third generation law student. My grandfather has served in Bikaner District court as a civil lawyer and my father continues to do so. I belong to a family full of science students. So when I decided to opt for humanities after scoring 10 CGPA in both 9th and 10th grade, that was quite shocking for my relatives but I was always supported by my parents. Social sciences have always attracted me and that is the reason why I chose to opt for BA LLB after scoring 95% above in both 11th and 12th standard. I consider myself more inclined towards creative writing and researching. I have always liked to spend my time reading articles related to different fields of law. Though I have enjoyed reading since forever but I was not really a very studious kid from the beginning. It took me quite some time to realize the importance of studies. But once that realization struck me then there was no turning back from there. Before joining Bennett University, I was more focused towards academics but now I look forward to publishing as many articles in different journals and websites, also trying to get as many internship opportunities as possible. The shift from CBSE to University structure has not been very simple but one learns to adapt according to the surroundings. Professors often say that the majority of students wish to become lawyers because they get inspired by watching 'suits' or because of the aura that is attached to the profession. My reason goes way beyond these considerations, I as a kid and teenager have grown up watching my family members practice law and I have always been fascinated by that. Getting into a first-tier NLU was never my plan, I always wanted to get into a decent college to embrace my skills and learn as holistically as possible.
