The Editorial Committee of the LegalServiceIndia.com E-Journal cordially invites esteemed members of the legal fraternity—Lawyers, Judges, Academicians, Research Scholars, and Law Students—to submit scholarly articles on contemporary legal issues. Contributions must adhere to the submission guidelines and parameters provided herein.
Articles may be uploaded exclusively through our online submission portal. Should you require further clarification, kindly refer to the enclosed ‘Guidelines and Parameters for Articles’. Guidelines and Publication Parameters
LegalServiceIndia.com maintains an exceptionally rigorous and discerning review process. Publication is reserved for articles that:
- Are genuinely original in thought and authorship;
- Are supported by meaningful research and analytical depth;
- Are eloquently articulated in clear, precise, and accessible language;
- Make a valuable contribution to evolving legal discourse.
In the event that revisions are required, authors will be offered the opportunity to revise and resubmit their manuscripts.

What We Seek
We welcome contributions that meet the following criteria:
- Insightful, thoroughly researched, and critically reasoned legal writings;
- Scholarship that contributes to the development of law and can endure over time;
- Specialist work that enriches discussions on contemporary legal and societal issues;
- Articles that remain accessible to both legal professionals and informed general readers.
Content Not Eligible for Publication
The LegalServiceIndia.com E-Journal will not publish:
- Articles written solely as replies to previously published works;
- Content that is promotional or marketing-oriented in nature;
- Submissions intended primarily to generate backlinks;
- Articles focused on funding issues in legal research;
- Purely moral, philosophical, or political discussions that lack a substantial and direct connection with law;
- Any work previously published in another journal without duly obtained permission from that journal;
- Content that is contemptuous, unlawful, or contrary to the aims and objectives of LegalServiceIndia.com;
- Simple book reviews, unless they are extended analytical pieces engaging substantively with legal issues.
Submission and Format Guidelines
- All articles must be written in English.
- Articles should be submitted electronically in Word or Notepad format.
- Font: Times New Roman, 13 pt.
- Line spacing: 1.5.
- Margins: 1″ on all sides.
- Headings and sub-headings should be in bold, but not in all capital letters.
- All paragraphs should be indented.
- Leave a one-line gap after each paragraph.
- All quotations within the text should:
- Be indented appropriately;
- Be enclosed within single quotation marks;
- Be presented in bold.
- All references should be indicated by superscript numbers in the text, with corresponding endnotes listed in chronological order at the end of the article.
Permissions
Authors are responsible for securing permissions for any third-party material reproduced in their articles, including figures, tables, or extended quotations. When seeking permission, authors should ensure that they obtain:
- Non-exclusive rights to reproduce the material in the specified article and journal;
- Electronic rights, preferably for use in any form or medium;
- The right to use the material for the life of the work;
- Worldwide English-language rights.
Third-Party Content in Open Access Papers
If an article is to be published under an Open Access license but contains material for which Open Access re-use permissions have not been obtained, the author must state this clearly by supplying an appropriate credit line alongside such material.
Certificate of Originality and Copyright
Each author must provide a Certificate of Originality, affirming that the article is his/her original work and that, upon publication in the LegalServiceIndia.com E-Journal, Legal Service India.com shall hold the exclusive copyright over the published article.

Editorial Review and Publication Procedure
The Editorial Board comprises four experienced legal experts. All articles received by Legal Service India.com will undergo a structured review process:
- Each submission is reviewed by the Editorial Board for quality, originality, and relevance.
- The Editorial Board may refer an article back to the author for reconsideration, revision, or reformulation.
- Only articles formally approved by the Editorial Board will be published.
- Where major changes are proposed, the author will be consulted and given the option to agree to editorial modifications or to revise the manuscript personally.
- Selected articles will be published subject-wise and based on the order of acceptance and publication.
