My name is Pratiksha Singh Thakur, an MBA (HR) student at Navrachana University, Vadodara, with a five-year integrated BBA LL.B. background combining business and law. Raised in a joint, business-oriented family, I gained early exposure to decision-making, people management, and workplace dynamics, shaping my interest in communication, collaboration, and organizational functioning. My legal studies deepened my understanding of how law influences all business functions—finance, HR, policies, and communication—supporting responsible operations. At university, I actively engage in academic and co-curricular activities. As a committee member of the Industry Connecting Team, I help bridge academia and industry, while volunteering in events has strengthened my coordination and teamwork skills. My interests lie at the intersection of psychology, law, and business, particularly in HR areas like employee welfare, labour law compliance, and benefits such as wages, bonuses, gratuity, and maternity provisions. I aim to build a career in HR, leveraging my legal knowledge to contribute to ethical, well-structured organizations through continuous learning, creativity, and dedication.
