The Court held that no fundamental right is absolute. Whenever a dispute arises between these two, the Right to Privacy, being a personal right must yield to the Right to a Fair Trial because the Right to a Fair Trial has ramifications which may impact the public life of the people. Despite this preference, the Right to Privacy remains a core fundamental right. Its application is context-specific. It stands protected only if it doesn’t interfere with the delivery of justice.
